Your starting point

Cell retrofit and takeover

For a plant changing parts, taking over an installation or replacing equipment while preserving understanding of the existing system.

Scope to agree

01

Inventory robots, controllers, options, peripherals and available backups.

02

Review sequences, recurring faults and machine dependencies.

03

Define changes, their effects on the cell and validation to repeat.

04

Plan the changeover, agreed fallback and post-change trials.

Prepare the work

Information to share with us.

  • Brands, model references, software versions and available access rights.
  • Programs, drawings, safety documentation and change history.
  • New operation, target parts and possible shutdown window.

Acceptance and limitations

Retained and modified functions are tested against a list defined before work starts. Backups are identified and outstanding items that block restart are flagged.

The quotation distinguishes equipment supply, integration, trials and services after commissioning. Open points remain identified.

Project questions

Before choosing a robot.

Can you take over another robot brand’s cell?

The work depends on equipment, access, licences and available documentation. We confirm the scope after inventory, before committing to changes.

Can the robot be replaced while retaining the tool?

Flange, payload, inertia, connections, paths and safety functions must be checked. Reuse cannot be established from payload alone.

An operation to automate?

Tell us about your parts, cycle times and constraints. We define the first checks with you.
